RoDwY Kitesock

Our new "RoDwY Kite Sock" is made against cut injuries ( sharp edged stones, corals and broken glass). These happen as one of the most unpleasant problems during water sport holidays. Almost every Kiter, ( and windsurfer also) had to interrupt his kite vacation or he was seriously handicapped to perform his sport. Medical treatment can be expansive. We have patented now the "RoDwY Kite Sock".
The yet available shoes made from Neoprene were not accepted by the majority, they are too thick and clumsy and the barefoot feeling, so important to the Kitesport gets lost.

RoDwY did want to invent a foot wear which preserves the barefoot feeling and which communicates all navigation manoeuvres.The contact with the board should be immediate and nevertheless the protection against cutting should be retained. Moreover we have added a support for the ankle joint which is frequently hurt when jumping.

The technical design was made with one of most acknowledged shoe designer.
We hope to test the first prototypes soon by our Ambassadors.
The Kitesock should be in the market in 2008 prices not available, yet.
