Once you have tried one of Colin's hand made boards you will never want anything else. The design and features incorporated to Colin's boards reflect the recommendations of some of the best riders in the world over the last 7 years. The design and technology in these boards reflects next years 2009 designs.
- The core of the board features a unique linear foam core for unparalleled damage tolerance and sheer force strength. This is combined with a blend of unidirectional and biaxial laminate for perfect flex, response, and durability. They are super comfortable boards - eating up the chop. Super light with the strength and flex in all the right places, something that can only be achieved with custom boards (Production boards are over designed and heavy to allow for manufacturing variances).
- The bottom of the boards are made from light weight and latest technolgy tectured PBT to minise the impact of scratches.
- The boards are single concave to hold power, create maximum pop, soften the ride in choppy conditions, increasing the directional stability at higher speeds, and enhancing edging and low wind performance
- The rocker line is flat with with a 3 stage "competition" rocker for speed and early planing.
- The wide tips insure huge amounts of pop for the most progressive riding possible and maximum surface area to enable early and fast planning.
- The flip-tip design prevents the nose from catching in choppy conditions.
- The 5cm G10 fins designed by Colin offers increased grip with reduced drag through the refined foil shape and reduced chord. The fins are positioned at the far corners of the board which gives the right balance of grip and moveability.
- The foot stance is wide to aide to wake style tricks and powerful maneuvers.
